Table Décor at Christmas
Christmas and decorating go hand in hand, so here is some tips on how you can decorate your table for your Christmas dinner or buffet.
Table Décor at Christmas
A table with nothing on can look so bare, we recommend using a table runner to run in the middle of the table to brighten up the table while also giving you a place to rest your dishes and sauces for your Christmas meal. To add more Christmassy feels to the plain white cotton linen table runner we’ve used a garland with cones and berries attached (this one pictured is from wilkos). Another way to spruce up that long centrepiece, is to add some fairy lights. In any colour you like. I’d advise using battery powered so no trip hazards about and you don’t have to be near a plug!
Some people might add some personalised touches to their Christmas table and add name cards, allocating seats to your guests.
Another fun way to add some festive cheer to your Christmas Table is through your napkins. Yeah I know crazy right! To keep it traditional, you could use our white cotton and cotton linen Table Napkins (available in two different sizes). To make these plain napkins festive at your Christmas Table you can fold them into little trees.
If you’re now thinking well how do I do that? Here’s how ?
Step 1 Fold your napkin twice, so it’s in quarters.
Step 2 Fold the corners of the napkin up.
Step 3Flip the napkin over and fold in the two ends at the bottom of the triangle.
Step 4 180° the napkin.
Step 6 Wow you have a lovely, folded napkin in the shape of a Christmas tree.
