About The Clever Baggers...

Why not slip into a website that's something a bit....well different. We at The Clever Baggers specialise in cotton and canvas bags, tea towels and aprons and would like to offer you a buying experience that's pleasant, easy, and cost efficient.

We don't believe in trying to be something we're not - we are a compact yet efficient family run business and we manufacture, print and sell cotton & canvas bags, tea towels and aprons printed with your logo; sometimes it can be more, but certainly it is nothing less. However, with many years of being 'in textiles' behind us (by which we don't mean just wearing clothes) we have become really rather good at it.

Why 'Clever'? Well some sixteen years ago we started off believing that the cotton bag was a 'good thing', a better, more environmentally friendly alternative to the tons of plastic & polythene bags that are given away and subsequently thrown away each year (see environmental info for further details). The thought of all the wasted energy and resources led us to think that this was not a 'good thing' and very definitely not clever so we set about finding a way of being able to produce long-life, re-usable, and bio-degradable cotton bags for a sensible price. Once we'd done this, we sat back and thought 'now that's clever'.

So our bags can be clever because of what they do but what about tea towels and aprons? Well these are clever too because, like the bags, they can be printed with your design or logo and can work really hard for you as a highly useful advertising or promotional tool. But perhaps more importantly still, exactly the same principles apply to the tea towels and aprons as the bags because they are produced specifically with cost-efficiency in mind (ok, let's not beat about the bush - they're very, very good value!).
